Air Canada

NBA DictionaryNBA Dictionary
An adjective used for Vince Carter . Vince started his NBA career with the Toronto Raptors . Known for his high flying dunks since his college days at North Carolina, Vince was considered 'arrived' after his outrageous dunks at the 1999-2000 season's Slam-Dunk Contest. One of the most memorable dunks in the history of basketball was unleashed by Carter at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in a preliminary game, when he dunked over Frederic Weis, the 7'2" French forward. The United States won 106-94 and went on to win the Olympic Gold Medal.
Carter was named NBA Rookie of the Year for the 1998-99 season.
"Air Canada was in top gear today with two monster dunks in the Forth Quarter". Also called 'Vinsanity', 'Vincanity'.
